Kitchen Demolition in Toronto

Planning a kitchen renovation? We strip out the old kitchen quickly and cleanly, so your contractor can start building on day one.

Kitchen tear-outs done right

A kitchen renovation starts with getting the old one out. We remove cabinets, counters, backsplash, flooring and drywall down to whatever level your renovation needs, from a simple cabinet swap to a full gut to the studs.

We work in houses and condos across Toronto and the GTA. In condos we protect hallways and elevators and work within building rules and booking times.

What we remove

  • Upper and lower cabinets, islands and pantries
  • Countertops, including stone and laminate
  • Tile backsplash and wall tile
  • Flooring: tile, hardwood, laminate and vinyl
  • Drywall, plaster and lath, ceilings
  • Soffits, bulkheads and non-load-bearing walls

Good to know

Plumbing, gas and electrical need to be safely disconnected before a kitchen comes out. Tell us what is staying (appliances, flooring, cabinets you want to reuse) and we will work around it. Ontario requires a designated substance survey (asbestos, lead and similar) before demolition on most older buildings, especially those built before 1990. If asbestos is found, it is removed by a licensed abatement contractor before we start, and quoted separately.

Kitchen demolition FAQ

How long does a kitchen demolition take?

Most kitchen tear-outs take one to two days. A full gut with walls and ceilings can take longer. Your quote will give you a time estimate.

Can you remove just the cabinets and counters?

Yes. We can do a partial strip-out and leave flooring, walls or anything else in place. Let us know what you want kept.

Do you work in condos?

Yes. We work around building rules, elevator bookings and quiet hours, and protect common areas.

Do you take away the debris?

Yes. We can supply the bin and haul everything away, so the space is left clean.
